Sentosa Golf Club in Singapore was among three venues announced yesterday that will stage tournaments on the 2023 LIV Golf League schedule.
LIV Golf Singapore will take place on Sentosa's highly-acclaimed Serapong Course on April 28-30. The two other venues that were uneviled are El Camaleón Golf Course in Mayakoba, Mexico (February 24-26) and Real Club Valderrama in Spain (June 30-July 2), joining the previously announced Grange Golf Club in Adelaide, Australia (April 21-23). The 2023 LIV Golf League will see 14 tournaments staged worldwide.
Each tournament will see 48 players competing in the unique LIV Golf format which includes shotgun starts, individual and team competitions, live music and engaging fan activities. The field is expected to include former Singapore Open Champions Ian Poulter and Sergio Garcia, as well as Major champions Cameron Smith, Dustin Johnson, Patrick Reed, Brooks Koepka, Bryson DeChambeau and Phil Mickelson.
Sentosa Golf Club continues to go from strength to strength as an established powerhouse of Asian golf, defined by its state-of-the-art agronomy programme and ‘tournament ready’ conditioning all year round across both of its courses, The Serapong and The Tanjong.
Regarded as one of the world’s best golf courses, players will get to experience The Serapong’s iconic layout, with fast, challenging greens, trademark contours and signature holes, enhanced during the outstanding renovations programme undertaken in 2020.
