Malaysia's Kelly Tan will head into the final round of the KPMG Women's PGA Championship in T19 place on even par following a third round 70 at Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Maryland.

Kelly traded five birdies against three bogeys at Congressional's Blue Course and is even-par for the tournament, eight shots behind leader In Gee Chun of Korea.

In leads the tournament on eight-under-par, three ahead of compatriots Hye-Jin Choi and Sei Young Kim, and American star Lexi Thompson.

This is Kelly's 21st Major appearance with the 28-year-old's best performance coming in the 2020 edition of this event, with a joint 13th finish at Aronimink Golf Club in Pennsylvania. This  remains the best finish by a Malaysian of either gender in one of golf's Majors.

The 2022 KPMG Women's PGA Championship offers a total purse of US$9 million, with the winner taking home US$1.35 million.
