Johnny Shin signed in a superb five-under par 67 to claim the PGAM Satellite Tour 7th Leg held at Danau Golf Club today.

Carding in a 34 on the front nine and closing his round with a 33 on the back, Shin barely triumphed over rising talent Paul San by one shot. Two shots adrift in third place was Jordan Pittman on two-under par 70.

Last week’s 6th Leg winner Zia Izzudeen Abdul Rashid shot an even-par 72 to be in fourth position, followed by Azlan Fauzy and Syakir Adli in joint fifth place on one-over par 73.

Meanwhile in the amateur category, Nasrullah Zulkilfli and Kishor Kumar found themselves tied at one-under par 71, leading to a playoff to determine the best amateur. Nasrullah emerged on top and claimed his second best amateur finish this season after beating Kishor on the first extra hole.

Finishing in third place was Isaac To Chern Yi on even-par 72, while Mohd Noh Adzlie, Izwan Zaini and previous week’s best amateur Muhammad Afif Mohd Fathi settled for joint fourth position on three-over par 75.
