Malaysia’s Alyaa Abdulghany claimed another top-ten finish on the 2023 Epson Tour season, wrapping up the Garden City Charity Classic at Buffalo Dunes in joint seventh position, which concluded on Sunday.

Opening with a strong 69, Alyaa followed up excellently with consistent rounds of identical 68s, for an 11-under par 205 total at the Buffalo Dunes Golf Course in Garden City, Kansas.

Two strokes adrift and in T11 from the 24-year-old was fellow compatriot Natasha Andrea Oon on nine-under par 207 (70-69-68), while Ashley Lau finished in T36 on six-under par 210 (72-70-68).

Meanwhile, former U.S. Women’s Amateur Champion, Gabriela Ruffels took home the Garden City Charity Classic at Buffalo Dunes trophy in historical fashion, carding a final round 71 to tie the Epson Tour 54-hole scoring record at 19-under par 197 (62-64-71).

Ruffels started her week by breaking the course record (62, -10) and then moved to break a 20-year-old Epson Tour record when she posted her second round 64 (-8). Despite the nerves, Ruffels kept her composure and finished her final nine holes with two birdies and no bogeys to close out a record-setting week and secure her second Epson Tour victory.

Finishing five shots behind the Australian were runner-ups Isabella Fierro, Agathe Laisne and Ga Yul Kang who all closed the event on 15-under par 201.
