Malaysian Golf Association announces NJDP elite players for 2024
The Malaysian Golf Association (MGA) recently announced the list of selected junior golfers as part of the National Junior Development Program (NJDP) Elite Team for 2024/2025.
The group of 25 juniors comprises 14 boys and 11 girls. Leading the lineup among the boys is Wan Danial who is the best-ranked junior with a 671st position on the World Amateur Golf Championship Rankings (WAGR) and recently was 2023’s MSSM (Majlis Sukan Sekolah-Sekolah Malaysia / Schools Sports Council of Malaysia) Under 18 champion. Other members include Muhammad Adif Haikal Md Hazan and Muhammad Ajmal Amin who are ranked 1222nd and 1907th respectively in the world.
Meanwhile, the girls’ team boasts talents such as Alya Afza Hazari whose achievements include winning the under-18 category of last year’s MSSM and currently holds a WAGR position of 1010th. She is joined by other talented juniors namely Andrea Chin Yen Xing and Ngo Yi Belle who are ranked 755 and 1422 respectively.

Our goal is not only to see these young talents excel in national and regional circuits but to also make their mark on the global stage.
