Dunlop Srixon Sports Asia Sdn Bhd announced its sponsorship of golf products for the Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) players, who are set to compete in the 2023 SEA Games Cambodia to be held from 8-13 May at Garden City Golf Club, Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

This collaboration between Dunlop Srixon Sports Asia Sdn Bhd and the Malaysian Golf Association (MGA) underlines the shared aspirations and dreams of both parties to support and nurture golf talent in the country, as it also aligns with the company's long-term vision to foster the growth and development of the golf industry in Malaysia.

The players set to compete in Cambodia are, Malcolm Ting, Anson Yeo, Nateeshvar Ganesh, Hariz Hezri, Ng Jing Xuen, Geraldine Wong, Foong Zi Yu. Five out of the seven players attended the press conference, while Malcolm Ting and Ng Jing Xuen were out of the mix as the event clashed with their respective training and tournament schedules.SEA Games players receiving their golf bags, balls, umbrellas, caps and travel bags from Dunlop Srixon Sports Asia.

Commencing in the year 1959 in Thailand, the SEA Games is a biennial multi-sports event involving participants from the 11 countries part of the SEA Games Federation. Malaysia’s best outing yet was at the 2021 SEA Games Hanoi when Team Malaysia returned home with four medals – two golds, one silver and one bronze.
