Galven Green claimed back-to-back wins on the Toyota Tour after his playoff victory at the Corolla Cross Cup held at Glenmarie Golf and Country Club today.

The 25-year-old edged seasoned campaigner Nicholas Fung with a birdie on the first extra hole to pick up his third Toyota Tour title since his last victory at the season-opening Tun Ahmad Sarji Trophy in February.

Starting the final round on 10-under-par with a one-shot lead over Fung, Green carded a three-under-par 69 while Fung signed in a two-under-par 68 to force a playoff.

On the first playoff hole at the par-four 18th, both Green and Fung did well to set up birdie putts after finding the fairway with their respective tee shots. After Fung left his putt short and settled for par, Green drained a 12-foot putt to seal the win.

"The second shot was a little nervy and the putt for sure, but pretty happy that I managed to pull it off," said Green, whose next event will be the Asian Development Tour's All Thailand Partnership Trophy.

"It was a tough front nine and I didn't get much going. But thankful that I came back on the last nine and hit some good shots to keep myself in contention," he added.

Despite missing out on returning home with a title, Fung noted that he was happy with his performance.

"I didn't expect much this week after being out of the scene since my injury. It's always a joy to be out here and support the tour, and this week is a confidence-boosting one since I'm still working a few fixes on my game," he said.

First-round leader Kenneth De Silva bounced back after a disappointing second round, sharing the day’s low round of six-under-par 66 with Shahriffuddin Ariffin. De Silva finished joint third on eight-under-par 208 alongside Khavish Varadan and Sukree Othman. While Ben Leong and Paul San are one-shot adrift in tied sixth place on seven-under-par 209.

Audrey Tan celebrated her maiden professional victory after returning with a final round of four-over-par 74 for a three-day aggregate of eight-over-par 224. Tan birdied the 18th to seal her win against amateur Tan Ying Ying and Amalia Shahzan who finished two shots further back on 10-under-par 226.

"I'm proud of myself today with the way I stayed calm while being in the leading position. The fact I held myself well with two good players hunting me down is my biggest takeaway this week," said the University of North Texas graduate.

Rhaasrikanesh Kanavanthi emerged as the Best Men's Amateur as he wrapped up the week in joint 24th position on one-over-par 217, while the Best Ladies' Amateur went to 15-year-old Tan Ying Ying.

The next event on the Toyota Tour schedule will be the Vios Cup to be held at Templer Park Country Club from May 14 - 16.
