Over 100 golfers enjoyed a tremendous day out in the sun in the Srixon Golf Day 2023 staged at Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club (KLGCC) held on 7 December 2023.

The event was held exclusively for members of MST Golf's ilovegolf loyalty program and Srixon purchasers, who were joined by Dunlop Srixon Asia Deputy Senior Sales Manager Raj Kumar, MST Golf Group Executive Chairman KP Low, and other invitees.

Every player was handsomely gifted goodies worth RM840, which consisted of a Srixon Cart bag and a sleeve of Srixon golf balls of choice.

The participants teed off shot-gun style at the esteemed East Course in KLGCC and were treated to perfect weather throughout the round.

The main competition saw some excellent scores signed in, while those who did not have their A-game for the day still had the opportunity to win prizes at the numerous novelty holes and Hole-In-One prize.

After 18 holes of play, Jung Yongguk was crowned the champion after racking in seven birdies to post a superb winning score of 43 points. For his victory, Jung took home a Srixon ZX5 Driver worth RM2,990.

Runner-up honours went to Wan Ismail Wan Yahya with 38 points, edging third-placed Fadzrul Abbas Mohamed Ramlee and six other golfers on countback. Wan Ismail won himself a Srixon MKII fairway wood worth RM1,790, while Fadzrul's prize was a Srixon MKII hybrid worth RM1,590.

The Nearest To Pin novelty contest was won by Anuar Othman after putting it only seven feet and three inches from the pin on the par-three 5th, while the Nearest To Line challenge on Hole 11 saw Tay Cher Haw stick it to only one inch from the line. Both earned a dozen of Srixon Z-star and Srixon Q-star Tour golf balls respectively. In the Longest Drive contest on Hole 18, Mujahid Hassan bombed a 262-metre drive to claim a Srixon MKII fairway wood worth RM1,790.

A hole-in-one prize of a set of Srixon ZX5 MKII Irons worth RM5,700 was offered at all four par-threes, but unfortunately, no one managed to score an ace on the day. In a generous move, Managing Director of Dunlop Srixon Sports Asia Takuya Ono who was present at the prize-giving ceremony moved the prize to the lucky draw, where Mohd Azwan Sulong had lady luck on his side and managed to snag the set of irons.

The day concluded with a lucky draw that saw 22 lucky participants get picked to bring home an array of Srixon products and Garmin Golf Watches.
