TaylorMade Golf and MST Golf hosted a fun-filled golf day on September 21 with a unique twist, as 27 golfers consisting of MST Golf's ilovegolf members and TaylorMade Golf patrons gathered for a round of indoor golf at MST Golf Arena, located at The Gardens Mall in Midvalley City.

Each participant received handsome TaylorMade goodies, which included a TaylorMade Cap, two sleeves of TaylorMade Golf balls, TaylorMade apparel vouchers and MST Golf Arena vouchers that came up to a total worth of RM550.

Out of the hot sun, golfers were split into groups of three per bay as play commenced virtually at 11AM on Pebble Beach Golf Links, one of the numerous world-renowned courses available at MST Golf Arena utilising Foresight Sports’ state-of-the-art GCHawk launch monitors.

Competing in stroke-play format with both gross and nett prizes up for grabs, participants also had the opportunity to demonstrate their abilities in the Longest 7-iron and Nearest To Pin challenges.

It was indeed a relaxed and enjoyable round, with players engaging in lively conversation and laughter while savoring the comfortable air-conditioned environment and grooving to catchy music.

TaylorMade Golf Ambassadors Alex Tiong and Jeremiah Kim Leun Kwang going further in depth about the new releases.

Adding excitement to the day was a short presentation of TaylorMade Golf's latest release of their P790 iron series and Milled Grind 4 (MG4) wedges. Showcasing the features of these new releases were TaylorMade Golf ambassadors Alex Tiong, Keegan Kam, Jeremiah Kim Leun Kwang, and Roger Loo.

At the end of play, Gavin Fung emerged as the gross champion with a solid score of seven-over-par 79, winning a TaylorMade Stealth 2 Plus Men's Driver worth RM3,190.

In runner-up position on nine-over-par 81 was New Fu Yeong, who took home a TaylorMade Stealth 2 Plus Men's Hybrid worth RM1,550. While Tony Pua scored a 14-over-par 86 to claim third place and win a TaylorMade Stand Bag worth RM860.

Meanwhile, 13-handicapper Boris Lee won the nett title on countback and a TaylorMade Stealth 2 Men's Driver worth RM2,990 with a score of one-over-par 73. Second place and the prize of a TaylorMade Steal 2 Men's Hybrid worth RM1,450 went to Alex Yau, while Aswadi HJ Muda grabbed third place with a card for five-over-par 77 to bag a TaylorMade Stand Bag worth RM860.

The Longest 7-iron novelty contest was won by gross champion, Gavin Fung, after flushing an impressive 200-metre shot with the new P790 7-iron. While Ronnie Lu showed immense accuracy and claimed the Nearest To Pin contest. Both golfers successfully won a TaylorMade Stand Bag worth RM860 for themselves and each of their group mates.

Aside from the great food and camaraderie displayed during the prize presentation, those who didn't get their hands on any of the main prizes still had good reason to stick around as each participant had the opportunity to walk home with one of the 20 prizes that were offered during the lucky draw.
