Four young Malaysian professionals recently participated in the CLPG Qualifying School, held from January 15 to 18 at Hainan Island.

Leading the Malaysian contingent was 16-year-old Ng Jing Xuen, who claimed the runner-up spot with rounds of 73, 74, 69, and 72 at The Dunes at Shenzhou Peninsula West Course. The youngest among the group, Ng secured full playing rights under Category 7.

Finishing at the top of the class and four strokes ahead of Ng was Holly Victoria Halim of Indonesia as she posted scores of 71, 70, 68, 75 to claim the title with a winning score of four-under-par 248.

Joining her with Category 7 full playing rights were Zulaikah Nurziana Nasser, who posted scores of 77, 76, 73, and 72, and Winnie Ng, who recorded rounds of 68, 76, 80, and 74, finishing tied for 11th at 10-over-par.

Meanwhile, Allycia Gan finished tied for 35th on 19-over-par and earned a Category 8 membership, granting her conditional playing status.
