Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has officially announced the return of the MercedesTrophy, marking the 35th edition of the exclusive amateur golf series for its customers. Known for combining sport with luxury lifestyle experiences, the tournament continues to be a key highlight in the brand’s calendar.

Open only to Mercedes-Benz Malaysia customers, the MercedesTrophy is part of a global series that sees over 60,000 golfers across 60 countries competing each year. Locally, the 2025 tournament will feature four qualifying rounds beginning 27 May at Tropicana Golf & Country Club. Winners will advance to the National Final, which will be staged once again at The ELS Club Desaru Coast on 19 June.

MST Golf has been appointed as the official event organiser for the tournament, supporting Mercedes-Benz Malaysia in bringing the premium golf experience to life.

MercedesTrophy 2025 Tournament Schedule:

*QR3 includes both men’s and women’s categories.

Participants will compete in four categories based on handicap:
Men
• Category A: Handicap 0–12
• Category B: Handicap 13–20
• Category C: Handicap 21–24

Women
• Category D: Handicap 0–36

Top performers from the National Final will qualify for the MercedesTrophy World Final in Stuttgart, Germany—the birthplace of the brand—set to take place from 28 September to 2 October 2025.

One of the most exciting highlights each year is the hole-in-one prize. This year, the first player to ace one of the two designated par-3 holes at each venue will walk away with a Mercedes-Benz EQE 350+ Electric Art Line worth RM379,888 (on-the-road, without insurance).

Also returning is the “Drive to the Major” contest—an international initiative where the player with the straightest drive at the National Final earns an all-expenses-paid trip to The Open 2025, happening from 16 to 21 July.

On top of that, participants can look forward to exclusive Mercedes-Benz merchandise, novelty prizes, and gifts from tournament partners like Crestlink, Desaru Coast, Dr Med, Luen Heng, Mercedes-Benz Financial, OPPO, TaylorMade, The Edge, The ELS Club Desaru Coast, and newcomers 100Plus and IROAS.
